A single continuous line traced without lifting the hand — arrived somewhere between the Museum of Textiles in Oaxaca and the many roads taken without a plan. Imperfect and continuous, like a current that knows where it's going without being told. Corriente means current: the river, the electrical charge, the thing that flows. On a Natural Cream ground with a deep Burnt Sienna thread, this is the quietest colourway — closest to natural, closest to the earth the current moves through.
The Making
Each rug in this collection is hand-knotted by master craftswomen in the M'rirt region of Morocco's Atlas Mountains — knot by knot, row by row, using 100% natural wool pile. The pile is formed over several weeks, then hand-washed and dried in the Moroccan sun: the process that gives Mrirt rugs their exceptional depth, softness, and the luminous quality you feel underfoot. Finished with hand-twisted fringes.

What is the lead time?
Medium rugs (160×230cm) from this collection are in stock and ready to dispatch within 4 weeks.
Large rugs (200×300cm) are made to order — handmade, washed and dried in the Moroccan sun — with a current lead time of 12–15 weeks.
All orders are processed within 24 hours and we'll keep you updated throughout production. Collection made-to-order closes 31 August 2026.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer complimentary shipping to the UK, US and Europe.
For other international destinations, shipping costs will populate at checkout.
For orders outside the UK, import taxes may apply and are excluded from the final purchase price.
Can I return my rug?
All collection orders are final and cannot be returned. Please ensure you're confident with your size and design choice before placing your order — we're always here to help before you commit.
What is Mrirt knotting?
Mrirt is a hand-knotting tradition from the M'rirt region of Morocco's Atlas Mountains. Each knot is tied individually by hand, then the rug is washed and dried in the Moroccan sun to achieve its characteristic deep, soft pile.
The Mexico collection is made exclusively in this technique using 100% natural wool.
Are these rugs in stock?
Each design has one Medium (160×230cm) in stock, ready to dispatch in 4 weeks.
The Large (200×300cm) is always made to order. Once the Medium sells, it is available made to order at the same 12–15 week lead time.
Do the images show the real rug?
Images are ultra-realistic design renders. As with all hand-dyed, hand-knotted pieces, final colours and dimensions may vary slightly — this is a natural characteristic of craft.
